Every summer for nine years, we welcome you to our musical rendez-vous in the lands of the Graves.
Transmit music to younger generations and share these timeless treasures with music lovers is the essence of the Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves.
Each edition opens mid july with the masters classes which are an integral part of the Rencontres des Graves. Renown artists from all over the world come and share their expertise with our students. The student orchestra joins our guest artists and takes part in the concerts which are part of the festivals « Aquitaine en Scène » and « Scènes d’été en Gironde ».
Through its eclectic programs the Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves has gained reputation as one of the foremost summer musical institutions in Europe..
During 15 days, prestigious châteaux of the Graves, such as Carbonnieux, Latour-Martillac, de Portets, de France, de Rochemorin, Smith Haut-Lafitte, as well as Maison des Vins des Graves as well as a few churches will marry concerts and wine tasting.
